The building committee is a group of volunteers with skill sets including carpentry, metalwork, electrical work, construction, etc. These volunteers advise on any needed or suggested buildings, modifications to existing structures, or construction of additional structures.

The parish recognizes a community need and attempts to find creative and meaningful ways of addressing the need. This can take the form of a card shower for those who are immune-challenged, food collection and distribution for those in need, space for city necessities and services to continue in the event of flooding, space for support group meetings, a community Christmas cookies and coffee event, and more.

Occasional fundraisers are held in order to make sure that sufficient funds are on hand to meet any facility and maintenance requirements that are outside of the normal day to day needs. These have at times included meals, raffles, craft fair and family fun days, etc.

The Ladies Sodality hosts an annual fundraiser to provide the funds necessary for funeral dinners, community donations, and more.

Parishioners are invited to volunteer as Offertory Gift Bearers who present the gifts during Mass. This is a great way for families to participate together and to introduce young children to the idea of stewardship.

The Parish Council members provide leadership and serve as an advisory body to the Pastor. Mindful of the spiritual and routine needs of the parish, members help to prioritize identified parish needs and set goals, objectives, and policies to meet those needs.

A phone and text tree has been created for any event in which word needs to be spread quickly throughout the parish. This might include a funeral dinner, an emergency for which a parishioner or family needs support, or Mass cancellation due to weather.

Volunteers will be asked to provide transportation to church for those that may need a ride.
