It’s all in the details.

There’s lots of work happening both inside and outside! While much of the bell tower is complete, the rest of the building still needs siding, windows, trim, and more. The contractors are currently making their way through the siding while leaving gaps for the windows that will eventually be placed.

A brief stop inside the church reveals all of the pieces necessary to create the finished product.

It’s crowded in here! The building serves as a bit of a workshop for the contractors as they’re completing lots of the exterior pieces and moving on to the interior work.

It takes a village and, in our case, that means it takes the time and talent of parishioners to make this project complete. Parishioner Darren Murphy is building the ladder that will allow for access into the bell tower. In this image he’s beginning the preparations and taking measurements.

Old buildings are never in perfect alignment so it takes some real skills to create customized pieces that fit perfectly into their designated spaces. St. Jude’s has been incredibly blessed to have parishioners with a wide range of skills and talents to draw from.
