Our cross was cleaned and polished by parishioner Alan Luebbert. The roof was completed in the past day or two and it was time to put the cross back in place.

After being down for a few days for cleaning and roofing, the cross is once again gleaming and sitting in its rightful place atop the steeple.

The shiny copper really catches the sun!

Skyler Duncan with SDI held the cross as it was carried up in the lift and then helped to place it atop the steeple. Skyler has been working on the church along with his father and grandfather as a part of the Duncan family team that heads up SDI. Thanks for the picture, Dustin!

While the rest of the exterior is still coming together, it’s a relief to our parishioners to see our cross back where it belongs.

There’s a lot happening in the world today and there’s a lot happening with our old building but, just for a moment, all is right with the world when we catch a glimpse of our freshly cleaned cross back in its rightful place and gleaming in the sunset.
