The confessional is all framed up and this week a notation as added to let the electrician know that there will be red and green lights above the door.

We’ve had lots of comments about these beautiful lights and we just want to let you know that yes, these are original to the building and even better, they’re not going anywhere! While there’s still some discussion about exactly where these beauties will be used, rest assured they’ll be salvaged and reused within the building.

It’s always fun to walk in and see blueprints laid out ready for work to begin again on Monday. Like we said, our plans are coming together beautifully!

File this under big developments…the floor is now level! When the addition was put on in the late 1960s the floor was not level with the original floor in the older part of the building. But this has been corrected this week and we’re thrilled to have a fully level floor to build on!

We told you in an older post that the siding and windows would come down and the plywood and Tyvek would go up and that’s exactly what’s been happening over the past couple of days! When we arrived for Mass this morning we were excited to see one whole side of the building covered in Tyvek wrap. One step at a time but it’s all coming together beautifully!
